Best Online TRT Clinics [2023 Update]

Millions of men around the world are becoming more and more aware that T-Levels are dropping. It’s not an isolated event, and it’s not all due to aging. There are lifestyle choices that play a role, but there is also something lurking beneath it all that may be affecting your hormone levels–Hypogonadism.

Hypogonadism (“hypo” means “under,” or below, and “gonad” is what it sounds like) affects men all over the world, and it’s a serious medical condition. While there are dozens of ways to increase our testosterone naturally, for men with severe Hypogonadism, there’s only one route to take–Testosterone Replacement Therapy, or TRT.

What is TRT?

Unlike T-Boosting supplements, TRT directly alters our brain and testicular tissue to increase production of Testosterone. The differences are stark, and shouldn’t be overlooked. TRT can take a variety of forms, from gels to injections, and no one option works for everyone. That’s why I’ve put together this list, after months of research, to get you pointed in the direction best suited for you.

Important Note

Before getting your mind made up, remember: TRT is by prescription only. That means you will need to submit to blood work and doctor visits and consultations. There is no short-cutting this; any TRT program claiming to waive the doctor-prescription process could be a scam or operating illegally. I’ve made sure all of these TRT Clinics are above-board, but that certainly doesn’t mean all the rest are.

1. Fountain TRT – Best in the Field

Fountain TRT has the best system and product I’ve evaluated throughout this research journey. They’ve streamlined the process of screening you for Low-T, setting you up with treatment, and getting you back on track.

Easy Assessment

Beginning with an online questionnaire, you move right on to a blood test, and then a video visit. All under the guidance of a certified physician. You don’t even need a referral from your normal doctor.

Easy Treatment

Fountain was founded by a Urologist who’s worked with men for his whole career. So he knows what’s easy for his patients, and what’s not. That’s why Fountain has worked hard to develop a simple, topical cream that’s delivered right to your door. This solution means no needles, no injections, and no in-person appointments.

Easy to Get Results

The Fountain system can get you results immediately, depending on the severity of your Low-T. And they’ll give you constant support via text and video calls to monitor your success. And all of this with a flat, monthly fee. You don’t have to worry about billing challenges, navigating insurance, or up-charges you didn’t see coming.

Pros

  • One-stop shop: from evaluation to results, all in one spot.
  • Doctors who only specialize in Low-T.
  • No need to go to the pharmacy.
  • Accepts HSA and FSA cards if you prefer.

Cons

  • More expensive than some other options.
  • Not available in all US states.

Why Fountain is Number One

As I reviewed and re-reviewed each provider on this list (and the dozens who didn’t make the cut), I kept finding myself coming back to Fountain. They offer reliable results, and they don’t beat around the bush–if TRT isn’t right for you, they’ll help steer you where you need to go. That being said, if TRT is where you need to be looking, you may need look no further.

2. Peter MD – Most Affordable

Let’s face it–money is a factor in our decisions. The worldwide economy is rough, and inflation isn’t really slowing down. That means that, no matter how much we might want to improve our lives, some options are out of reach. Peter MD set about to change that, at least for Low-T treatments.

Low, Low Cost

Not only can you get some treatment plans for as little as $89 a month, but they have other flexible options to fit your budget and time needs. And, they offer a full refund if for any reason you don’t qualify for treatment. Not to mention that if you find a cheaper TRT plan, Peter MD will go an additional 20% lower.

Safe Capsule Treatment

Peter MD isn’t just affordable–their treatment is flexible, too. One of their most popular options is a capsule containing Enclomiphene. What’s so important about this medication is that it doesn’t affect testes production. Meaning you can stop at any time, without worrying that you’ve wrecked your Leydig cells, as is the case with some injection steroids.

Multiple Solutions

If you’re not sure that full-on TRT is for you don’t worry. Peter MD also has help with ED, hair loss, and even mental health services. That means you don’t need to worry that they’ll only push one solution, no matter your issues.

Pros

  • Easily the most affordable option on the market.
  • Backed by a medical officer who’s an expert in the field.
  • Fully HIPAA compliant.

Cons

  • Doesn’t have the widest range of TRT options.
  • If capsules don’t work for you, neither will Peter MD.

Why Peter Makes the List

Peter MD had to come in near the top of our reviews, if for no other reason than how affordable they are. The fact that they have such high customer service rankings, and provide in-depth treatment for other men’s health issues is a massive bonus.

3. Evolve Telemed – Most Services Available

Evolve is an all-encompassing telemedical company that provides everything from weight loss support to, yes, excellent TRT options. Their intake and evaluation covers all the healthcare needs you might want covered, including the Ozempic-like medication Semaglutide.

Multiple Options

If you’re interested in telemed for more than just TRT, then Evolve should be at the top of your list. You can work on hair restoration, building muscle, and even attending to your skin health, all from the privacy and comfort of your own home.

Every Level of Care

Evolve has pioneered something called “concierge” telemedicine. This means that once you’re a member, you can rely on them for all your health care questions, and you can rest assured that you’re speaking with a qualified, licensed physician. This means you won’t need to wait months to speak with a doctor or weeks to get answers once you do.

Pros

  • Offers full range of medications.
  • Many options don’t require blood tests.
  • Concierge experience for all your healthcare questions.

Cons

  • Not upfront about pricing.
  • Doesn’t work with insurance companies.

Why Evolve Makes the List

Evolve makes the list because, frankly, Low-T isn’t the only issue we face as we get older. And we don’t always want to take time out of our busy schedules to make an appointment months away to sit in a waiting room–all to not get the answers we need. Evolve goes beyond TRT and offers a complete telemed experience.

4. Marek Health

Marek Health has chosen a slightly different tack, deciding to specialize in Diagnostics. By providing a more in-depth analysis of your blood work, they can provide a more nuanced approach to your health and wellness needs.

Not Just Testosterone

Anyone who’s read the Great Green Wall knows that we have a commitment to the science behind the products, and not everything is cut and dry. For instance, the relationships between Testosterone, SHBG, and DHT are well known to the medical world, but not to every consumer. That’s why Marek works on as detailed an analysis as scientifically possible to help you determine exactly where you are with your hormone levels.

Evolving Treatment

Because our body chemistry changes over time, so too do our needs. Because Marek doesn’t start with a simple “Low-T, high Estrogen”, your initial treatment plans with them won’t be that simple, either.

Pros

  • Most detailed hormone analysis available.
  • Multiple treatment plans for highly tailored results.
  • Full consultations mean you’re never in the dark about what your results mean.

Cons

  • Expensive; initial analysis can run nearly $1000.
  • Doesn’t work with any insurances, even for diagnostic or procedure codes.

Why Marek Makes the List

In all my research into telemedicine and TRT, I didn’t find anyone with as comprehensive a blood work and hormone analysis as Marek. The fact that their services extend to consultation and actual therapy mean they’re most definitely among the few best TRT options around.

5. Hone TRT

Hone Health is another all-access telemed service, designed for the modern man. By specializing in at-home diagnostics and treatment, Hone offers you the ability to address your TRT, but also your diabetes medications, and even meet your weight loss and cognitive function goals.

Full-Range of Products

As we’ve discussed across the Great Green Wall site, there are multiple health factors that worsen as we age, compounded year on year. From cellular degeneration to the toxins of modern diets, we need all the help we can get. That’s why Hone offers more than just Testosterone support, and all of it FDA approved.

Membership has its Benefits

There is a monthly membership fee with Hone, but that also means you can add and subtract therapies with ease, and at little to no cost. For instance, adding TRT to your existing membership is less than $30 a month, and from there you can add B12, ED meds, or even Metformin, all with substantial savings.

Pros

  • Blood tests done at your own home!
  • Access to licensed doctors.
  • Monitoring every 90 days for optimum results.

Cons

  • Membership prices is mandatory, and over $100 a month.
  • Right now only supports male health.

Why Hone Makes the List

Hone rounds out the Editor’s Top 5 because of their one-of-a-kind membership model. It means that as the company grows, so do your options. And as your working with them on your health goals, you always have access to customizing your regimen.

Final Word

Testosterone Replacement Therapy is by no means for everyone. And one huge criteria for who would make this list was if companies could admit that. Each one of the clinics and services we’ve discussed offers comprehensive care–they’re not selling Testosterone injections just to make a buck. They’re after your total health and wellness.

Another great feature is how many of them offer consultations. That means you can back out at any time if you don’t like the vibes. Rest assured, though, that these are the absolute best on the market, today, and they all have the science to back that up.
